Federal Criminal Defense

A seasoned litigator, Ms. Rossman regularly practices in federal court. She represents individuals at all stages of federal prosecutions, from witnesses who government is merely interested in speaking with to those charged with criminal offenses. An experienced advocate, she understands the value of negotiation, but has no fear of taking a case to trial – and winning.

Professional Licensure Matters

In Pennsylvania, dozens of professions – from barbers to doctors – require that a practitioner obtain a license from an issuing authority in order to perform their job. The Department of State’s Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs (BPOA) is responsible for investigating and prosecuting alleged fraudulent or unethical conduct on behalf of these professional licensing boards. Over the course of her career, Ms. Rossman has successfully represented individuals accused of wrongdoing by their professions’ respective licensing authorities.

University Disciplinary Matters

The Philadelphia region is rife with institutions of higher learning, each with its own Code of Student Conduct outlining the behavior to which students are expected to adhere. These codes of conduct address behaviors ranging from underage drinking to sexual assault, and alleged violations can result in significant consequences, including expulsion. Moreover, particularly in cases of alleged sexual misconduct, such violations often have criminal implications that must be considered. Over the course of her career, Ms. Rossman has advised dozens of students before university disciplinary committees throughout the Philadelphia area.
